Highland Golf and Country Club

Highland Golf and Country Club serves as the home course and training facility for Butler's men’s and women’s golf teams. Located just to the northwest of Butler’s campus, the 18-hole Highland course features 6,551 yards of golf with a par of 70. The course rating is 71.1, and it has a slope rating of 122 on Bentgrass.

The property also houses a 9,000-square-foot state-of-the art indoor practice facility that includes a 3,000-square foot putting green, two indoor simulation bays, four indoor/outdoor heated bays, a teaching bay, conference room, and locker rooms. Named the Mike Petrie Golf Academy, the structure was completed in 2018.

The golf course at Highland, designed by William H. Diddle, ASGCA, with assistance from Willie Park, Jr., opened in 1921. Competitors on the historic links have included Babe Zaharias, Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen.
